Karangasem Bali Tourism - The district government of Karangasem, Bali, need more arranging and ordering a few things to support the development of the tourism sector, with hopes of making tourism as a revenue booster (PAD) and improve the level of social welfare.
"A lot of things that need to be done to attract the attention of local government and foreign tourists visiting Bali East, or can be parallel to the tourism sector in South Bali, namely Badung and Denpasar," said Chairman of the Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association (PHRI) Karangasem, Nyoman Kariasa, Sunday (02/13/2011).
He said these efforts include the repair of damaged roads in the tourist path, the control wild villa, hotel and restaurant license enforcement. Besides tackling the impact of rabies, build zebra cross in front of the Temple Candidasa, trimming trees that interfere perindang roads, settlement areas at the entrance Yeh Malet and the problem of illegal fees to tourists in the Pura Besakih.
All these problems have been the subject of discussion between the parties PHRI Karangasem with the Department of Tourism, local government and work unit area (SKPD) led the Vice Regent of Karangasem I Made Sukerana accompanied by Secretary Drs I Nengah Sudarsa, M.Sc.
Vice Regent Made Sukerana expect, employers who mustered in PHRI remain united and work together to jointly promote tourism government of Karangasem.
The tourism sector proved able to contribute greatly to regional development in the form of PAD that it needs an effort to always maintain the quality of service to tourists. Therefore, various obstacles that may arise should be addressed jointly with the involvement of the surrounding community.
Sukerana expect all ranks SKPD addressing grievances and aspirations of the tourism component, with hopes of making tourism Karangasem Bali parallel with the South. Various suggestions concerning the improvement of infrastructures to be harmonized with the available budget on the budget 2011 which is on the Parent each SKPD.
